Dear Diary,
How are you today? I hope you are OK.
Today is world Cancer day,did you know that? Now you know. But first things first. Last night Man city had a game against Chelsea and guess what, Chelsea won with a margin of 1 nil, and now CONFIRMED Arsenal is comfortable on top top of the league!
Right with the good mood triggered, i would like to dedicate this day and this article to all cancer patients, victims and everyone else who has been affected by cancer in one way or another.
It is a sad thing to note how our blessed country Kenya has lost so many of its children due to cancer. CANCER CARE KENYA is Kenya’s first private and comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and after care of cancer. Internationally trained Radiation, Medical and Surgical Oncologists, Palliative Care Physicians, Physicists, Radiation Technicians and Oncology Nurses are available to serve you.
Statistics show that about 30 percent of all cancers cases in Kenya are caused by HIV, according to the Country Aids Control body. Data from the ministry of health indicates that approximately 22,000 Kenyans lost their lives to cancer in 2013 while another 28, 000 were diagnosed.

Among the prominent people who have succumbed to this maladie include, media personalities, veteran politicians, musicians, our relatives, friends, neighbours and loved ones.
During this valentine, show some love to all those affected by cancer, its a killer disease and its not funny, be empathetic and don't condemn, before you start pointing a finger at them, victimizing, try to walk a mile in their shoes and you will know.
Dear diary, today am not in my best moods and therefore lets leave it at that, I hope tomorrow will be a better day for both you and me. In French we say, a demain!
